Forensic Accounting Services

The Vendor is required to provide forensic accounting services related to claims disputing hourly wages and related benefits at the city.
- The attorneys draft and approve all harbor tariffs, leases, permits and contracts; specifications for harbor projects, including construction projects; real property transactions, and all permits issued by the harbor; in addition, the attorneys provide legal advice to harbor and board of harbor commissioners on all state lands and tidelands trusts issues, federal maritime commission issues, real estate and property management issues, employment and labor, marketing and international trade requirements, railroad operating and other legal matters related to port operations; the office also represents the harbor in litigation involving contract disputes, environmental matters, police cases generated by port police, collection of contract disputes and various maritime and shipping disputes.
- Services include data collection, data preparation, data analysis and reporting.
