The vendor is required to provide accounting services to assist the land bank in managing operating and capital grant financials.
1. Bookkeeping services
• Manage the general ledger accounting system and current accounting software
• Assist and provide support for the current financial operations platform that is currently utilized, bill (formerly bill.com)
• Perform monthly reconciliation of bank account (currently one checking and one savings account) as well as reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
• Record revenue as well as process payments to vendors
• Prepare financial reports for various grant reporting requirements
• Grant tracking for restricted and unrestricted funds
2. Financial reporting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly budget to actual summary and detail reports
• Prepare monthly and quarterly statements of income and expense, balance sheet, or other reports as necessary for board or committee meetings
• Prepare a weekly cash report
• Assist with and complete various local, state and federal financial reporting requirements.
3. Audit
• The executive director, prepare all financial reports requested by the land bank’s contracted independent auditor for routine annual audit
• The executive director, prepare all financial reports requested by the land bank’s contracted independent auditor for any single audits as necessary.
