The vendor is required to provide financial advisors and financial firms to provide strategic financial guidance, actively manage investment funds and investment advisories, and management services on a day-to-day basis.
- Include but not be limited to, as applicable, the following responsibilities:
• Assist in the review and amendment to agency investment policy as directed, where necessary.
• Provide investment advisory and portfolio management services in accordance with agency investment policy and corporate objectives.
• Recommend investment purchases and sales; execute authorized transactions with appropriate documentation and reporting.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of all investment transactions, recommendations, meetings, and reporting provided to agency.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide monthly and quarterly reports, including detailed data on earnings, valuation, asset allocation, and market developments.
• Present investment updates and performance results to agency board of directors and designated investment team on a regular basis.
• Attend and participate in scheduled investment meetings and strategic planning sessions, including presentations and educational briefings to stakeholders.
• Identify and analyze relevant market and economic trends; assess potential risks and opportunities affecting agency portfolio.
• Coordinate with any third-party custodians designated by agency to ensure secure and timely asset transactions.
• Provide advisory support on additional investment-related matters or projects, as requested.
- Investment funds required
• Currently registered as investment advisors with the securities and exchange commission or applicable state regulatory body and must remain registered during the term of the contract.
• All necessary registrations, examinations, approvals, authorizations, and consents required by any governmental or regulatory authority must be current and in good standing.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze and advise on a diversified portfolio of assets, with experience across multiple asset classes and familiarity with market trends, risk management, and long-term financial planning.
• Must be in good standing with all licensing authorities.
• The case of firms, key personnel assigned to the agency account must meet these qualifications.
• Financially solvent and appropriately capitalized to perform the services required under this solicitation for the full duration of the agreement.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards as described by the institute or comparable governing body, and must agree to uphold agency internal investment and compliance policies.
• Provide in-person services at agency headquarters located in state and be available for scheduled board meetings and strategy sessions as requested.
