Auditor and Financial Advisor Services

The vendor is required to provide auditor and financial advisor, as more particularly described herein for financial records of the city of east orange for the period of January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.
- The services requested include, but are not limited to the following:
•    Statutory audit of accounts and records of all funds for the calendar year ending December 31, 2025.
•    Perform tests of internal controls and compliance with statutory requirements 
•    Performance of a federal and state single audit in accordance with OMB circular a-133 and state OMB circular 04-04
•    Preparation of the city’s audited statutory financial statements 
•    Review of annual budget
•    Accounting and tax guidance as needed throughout the year
•    Meet with the mayor, administration and city council as needed and requested
•    Advise on legislative changes which may require record changes during the year
•    Provide financial and budgetary advice and analysis to the city as needed or requested.
