The Vendor is required to provide to develop and implement an AI experience that will be integrated into our university website.

This system will serve as an interactive AI experience for prospective
students and other web users visiting a curated page, providing a
personalized “university experience” based on information that is
submitted by the user.
- The system should be capable of
understanding and responding to a wide range of inquiries related to
academic programs, admissions requirements, campus life, financial aid,
and other relevant topics.
- Services include:
1. AI development and customization
• Developing or customizing a LLM to accurately represent university’s information and brand voice.
• training the AI system on a comprehensive dataset of university-specific information (website content, FAQS, brochures, etc.).
• ensuring it’s capable of handling complex questions and outputting the gamified environment with information and links.
• implementing natural language understanding (NLU) and natural language generation (NLG) capabilities for seamless interaction.
2. Website integration
• Integrating the system into the university website as a user-friendly web environment and interactive interface.
• Ensuring seamless integration with existing website infrastructure and content management systems.
• Ability to integrate with CRM and CMS that the university currently has in place.
• Designing an intuitive and visually appealing user interface.
3. Functionality
• Providing how it will maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
• Answering frequently asked questions and providing personalized responses based on user input.
• Offering multilingual support.
• Collecting and analyzing user data to improve the performance.
• Providing sentiment analysis of user interactions.
• Providing a handoff to a live person when the AI cannot answer a question.
4. Maintenance and support
• Providing ongoing maintenance and support for the system.
• Regularly updating the system with new information and addressing any issues.
• Providing training for university staff on how to use and manage the system.
• Data security and privacy
• Ensuring the system complies with all applicable data security and privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA, GDPR).
• Implementing security measures to protect user data.
• Providing clear and transparent information about data collection and usage.
