The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive artificial intelligence (AI) solutions applicable to higher education institutions across academic, administrative, and operational departments.
- This market scan focuses on AI technologies that can support areas that may include:
•    Teaching and learning
•    Academic advising and student support
•    Research support
•    Administrative automation
•    Campus operations and services
- Frontier AI models to support the application of four types of AI technologies in the design, development, and delivery of instruction:
•    Generalized AI models – Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama.
•    Specialized GPTs or bots – AI bots that guide students step-by-step through learning activities that have been designed by faculty.
•    Web-based AI agents – AI agents that perform tasks autonomously or semi- autonomously using browser- based tools (e.g. finding web pages about a particular research topic and writing a summary of key ideas).
•    Computer-based AI agents – AI agents that perform tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously using applications found on the user’s computer (e.g. using the AI agent in Microsoft’s Copilot+PC to create transcripts of audio and video files on the computer).
