The Vendor is required to provide on-call artificial intelligence (AI) consulting and solution development services (collectively, the “AI Services”).
- Support the county’s strategic goal of using AI technologies to improve service delivery, strengthen operational efficiency, and foster data informed decision-making across multiple departments.
- Leveraging AI in ways that are secure, ethical, equitable, and transparent, and expects vendors to bring not only technical expertise but also a deep understanding of data privacy, accessibility, and public sector accountability.
- AI Service projects may involve applications such as predictive analytics for public health, automation of document workflows in human services, or optimization of traffic and mobility systems.
- Categorized into two primary service tracks:
• AI Tools as a Service: Vendors offering hosted AI platforms and solutions; and
• Custom AI Solution Development: Vendors providing bespoke AI development services.
- Pool may be engaged:
• AI readiness and maturity assessments;
• AI strategy development and implementation planning;
• Machine learning model development and validation;
• Natural language processing (e.g., document automation, Chatbots);
• Computer vision and smart infrastructure applications;
• Generative AI use case consultation and implementation;
• Data engineering, cleaning, and governance for AI use;
• Auditing and mitigation of AI bias and algorithmic harm;
• Monitoring of Agentic AI agents; and/or
• Security and compliance consulting (e.g., Fed RAMP, CJIS, HIPAA)
