Structural Assessment of Property Design Services

The vendor is required to provide that structural assessment of property design services.
- Assess the structural integrity of uneven flooring and steps, identify causes, and recommend solutions.
- Site assessment: conduct a visual inspection and measure floor levels and step heights throughout the property.
- Structural analysis: evaluate underlying structural components (joists, beams, foundation) for deficiencies and assess load-bearing capacities.
- Material assessment: examine existing materials, including VCT tile (ACM), with attention to safe handling and potential abatement.
- Gait and mobility considerations: assess the impact of uneven surfaces on mobility and safety, providing recommendations for compliance with ADA guidelines.
- Request a detailed report of findings, including recommendations for repairs, modifications, or replacements needed to address the uneven flooring and steps.
- The inspection was characterized by a close visual inspection of all accessible areas.
- Suspect materials were sampled and inventoried for quantity, condition and friability.
