The vendor is required to provide main stage audio upgrades services for the following items are to be furnished and installed:
a. main sound upgrade (base bid)
• (4) active 2-way column array speaker, RCF nxl-24a-mk2 or equivalent
• (2) FLYBAR, RCF fb-nxl24a, or equivalent
• (2) RCF ac-flylink-nxl24, or equivalent
• (4) RCF HDL 36-as subs or equivalent
• (2) RCF bumper bars/fly hardware/hdl28 kit or equivalent
• all associated cabling and hardware.
b. Additional sound system upgrade (add alt #1)
• (1) lab Gruppen LMX 88 lake audio system processor - 48-in/48-out lake audio system processor with 16 input routers and 12 processed outputs, or equivalent.
- The above equipment serves as the basis of design; any substitutions must receive owner and consultant approval.
- Issue submittals for approval by the college and consultant.
- Furnish and install all associated cabling, hardware, receptacles and other accessories necessary for the system to function.
- Furnish and install (6) 20-amp dedicated ceiling receptacles for the mains and subwoofers – 3 per side. installation and circuit landing locations to be approved by owner and consultant in field.
- Provide any necessary patching, programming and registration for all equipment.
- New pa system will be hung from I-beams on both the right and left sides of the stage in line with the downstage edge of the existing center cluster.
- Exact locations of new speakers to be approved by the college and consultant in field.
- Responsible for the training of staff on all equipment controls
- If alt #1 is accepted, responsible for the integration of the new processor to the existing distributed audio architecture
- If alt #1 is accepted, must allow access to processor and its functionality.
- Install floor protection over carpet and stage when using lifts or other heavy equipment that could damage the surfaces.
- Existing equipment being replaced to be removed and turned over to the college.
- The college and building will be in use during the entirety of this project.
- Safety precautions must be used to ensure the safety of the faculty, staff, students and the public at all times, including the installation of barriers and temporary walls, where necessary.
- A path of egress will remain throughout construction at all entrances.
- Care must be given during every aspect of this project including deliveries, movement of materials and equipment around the exterior of the building and the performance of the work itself.
- A dumpster will be allowed in parking lot #2 on a limited basis and the location must be approved by the college.
- Deliverables:
• Warranty for 2 years on all work.
• Register all equipment with appropriate manufacturers to ensure all product warranties are properly initiated.
• Provide a minimum of 4 hours training for the college’s personnel to demonstrate the use of the system and all system components.
• Maintenance bond for 2 years.
• Insurance certificate; payment and performance bonds.
• Schedule of values to be reviewed and approved by owner and consultant
• AIA payment applications including manning reports and certified payroll.
• Progress photos submitted with each AIA payment application.
• A baseline project schedule created in microsoft project, primavera or other scheduling software.
• Bi-weekly schedule updates.
• As-builts, O&M manuals and other closeout documents.
• List of attic-stock materials turned over.
• Closeout documents such as consent of surety, waiver of lien, final insurance certificate, warranties, maintenance bond.
• Final interior site cleaning.
