The vendor is required to provide Information technology (IT) and audio-visual (AV) services for public wi-fi, point-of-sale (POS) systems, network segmentation, live event production, venue-wide AV control, lighting and rigging systems, and fair specific communications.
- Internet and network infrastructure
• Campus-wide network coverage with secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Network segmentation for (POS), internal operations, public wi-fi, and custom VLANs.
• Bandwidth scaling solutions to manage variable demand and mitigate interference.
• Implementation of secure configurations including firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS)
• Either standalone IDS and IPS modules or integrated IDS and IPS solutions.
• 24/7 network monitoring and on-call technical support.
- Audio-visual services
• Management and installation of av hardware, including high-fidelity audio systems, led walls, projection systems, and digital signage.
• Integration of centralized av control platforms (e.g., q-sys or equivalent).
• Real-time content management and distribution capabilities across all facilities.
• Event-specific av configuration and support.
• Maintenance and customer support for systems located in hall and the new agricultural building.
- Lighting and rigging
• Installation and maintenance of lighting systems across indoor and outdoor venues.
• Support for rigging points, trusses, motorized lifts, and other rigging systems.
• Integration with stage and av systems for dynamic productions.
• Consultation and recommendations for infrastructure improvements in lighting and rigging.
- Documentation and compliance
• Maintain accurate diagrams, schematics, and documentation of all installed systems.
• Maintain and regularly update a detailed inventory of all technical equipment and configurations.
• Establish and follow a documented change management process, including replacement budget estimates.
- Fair-specific systems and support
• Temporary provision of telephone systems, intercoms, two-way radios, video systems, concert staging, lighting, and sound.
• Management and maintenance of paging systems in key locations such as the coliseum, cooper arena, Voinovich center, Gilligan complex, Bricker building, sheep and swine barns, fine arts building, and etc.
• System integration to support emergency communication and grounds-wide paging.
• Support and maintenance of portable av and sound systems, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and control systems.
• Equipment and support for livestock shows, 4-h judging, ceremonies, and other special events.
• Lighting and rigging equipment specific to high-capacity venues such as the celeste center.
• Dedicated on-site personnel to assist with pre-fair setup and post-fair breakdown.
