The vendor required to provide audio visual (AV) equipment supply and installation package will include the following deliverables: site surveys and measurements, final shop drawings and detailing, engineer-stamped drawings where necessary, permit approvals, color and material samples and prototypes for client approval, fabrication, site management and installation.
• The supply and installation, configuration, programming, measurement, testing and calibration, documenting and producing manuals and as-builts for audio, video, lighting and control systems intended for presentation, entertainment, meetings and collaboration, scheduling, conferencing and central AV system management.
• The range of audio and video system technology may include:
o Networked digital audio,
o Audio digital signal processing,
o TMDS digital video systems that may include fiber optic infrastructure and HD base-t or AV over IP delivery systems,
o Projection systems using laser and led based projectors,
o Flat panel displays and digital signage systems,
o Cabling terminations and certification including category cable, fiber, audio signal cabling and lighting data cabling,
o Control system touch panel programming,
o Audio system measurement using comprehensive audio signal chain analysis; time domain measurement of loudspeaker systems in rooms,
o Digital video system testing, including HDCP compliance,
o Stage lighting systems, including lighting focus, control system programming and lighting data distribution.
• Proponents are expected to demonstrate competence in programming and configuration of the audio, video, lighting and control systems, and proponents with staff holding certifications in these areas will be scored higher.
o Proponents may use subcontractors to provide any outstanding certifications or skills they require to successfully install the systems.
o Identify such subcontractors in their submission and provide details of the current certifications held by each.
• The successful proponent will be expected to provide project management for their own installation crews and will proactively coordinate installation with the construction manager and other trades to maintain efficient progress of the overall project.
• Approximate expected schedule of the project:
o Shop drawings, mock-ups: 1st/2nd quarter 2026
o Cabling and rough-ins: 2nd quarter 2026 to 4th quarter 2026
o Installation: 4th quarter 2026 to 2nd quarter 2027
o Commissioning: 2nd quarter 2027.
