The vendor is required to provide its investment advisory program, the foundation is looking to balance a desire to maximize investment returns on its portfolio while maintaining a prudent level of risk as detailed in its policy.
- The Foundation is interested in an advisory firm that can provide the following services:
• Annual spending rate analysis, including benchmarking against peers.
• Strategic advice on asset allocation per policy.
• Periodic investment review per policy and ongoing compliance.
• Manager search and selection.
• Performance analysis and evaluation (minimum quarterly), including relevant benchmarking and risk assessments.
• Participation in joint investment advisory committee meetings (four (4) times a year).
• Ongoing education on trends, current market conditions and related investment topics.
• Availability to respond to inquiries from the foundation’s external auditors regarding the annual audit report; and
• Adherence to the uniform prudent management of institutional funds act.
- The investment advisor is to participate in each council quarterly meeting and address specific topics as specified by the council.
