Computer Aided Dispatch System

The Vendor is required to provide a cloud-based computer-aided dispatch system.
- Dispatch centers are responsible for receiving emergency and nonemergency phone calls, dispatching the appropriate response to events, and servicing internal and external customers.
- One way of accomplishing this mission is to provide a cloud-based Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
- A cloud-based CAD system is a mission-critical software platform designed to streamline and support the operations of public safety agencies. 
- A cloud-based CAD system facilitates the efficient intake of emergency and non-emergency calls, the real-time dispatch of appropriate response units, event tracking, and the coordination of responders, all hosted on a secure cloud infrastructure. 
- This system will also integrate with a telephony system.
- The system, a new cad event is to be initiated with minimum required data fields defined by the state (i.e., address/call type, etc.). CAD event should then be immediately available to all users.
- The system will display state-defined standard operating procedures and call protocols automatically and manually based on CAD event type.
- The system will enable users to define and configure cad event types and defined associated priorities, sops, and protocols.
- The system filters system-created comments to remove from view within the CAD event.
- The system will display a visual notification of supplemental data from a previous CAD event.
