The vendor required to provide computer aided dispatch (CAD) subject matter expert (SME) support to ensure the effective operation and optimization of the city's hexagon software environment.
- This engagement is to ensure the effective operation and optimization of the city's hexagon on-call dispatch, mobile unit and mobile responder software environment.
- To facilitate service delivery, the city will provide:
• A designated physical workspace,
• A secured work terminal, and
• Remote network access.
- The CAD software environment.
- Maintenance or support of the underlying CAD infrastructure or broader network systems is not within the engagement, as these components are managed internally by the city.
- Familiarity with the infrastructure and network architecture is considered beneficial for effective troubleshooting and collaboration.
- Schedule:
• Provide approximately 12 hours of support per week, with the expectation that the supplier will be on-site for the majority of those hours.
• Remote work may be permitted at the sole discretion of the city.
• Additional hours may be required and will be authorized by the city as needed, which may include the provision of 24/7 on-call remote support during the term of the agreement.
