The vendor is required to provide maintenance, and emergency and non-emergency repair services in support of the security camera system.
- Provide access to the premises during normal business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST, Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays, unless alternative hours are mutually agreed upon.
- Provide contractor with appropriate information that is current, accurate, and correct and with ready access to staff and resources as are necessary for the provision of services described herein.
- Inspect work performed by the contractor after completion; the state is solely responsible for determining acceptability of the work performed and the operability of the equipment.
- Manage cosmetic work such as painting conduit, and painting filled drilled holes, with the exception of any sealed penetrations made as per state fire marshal regulations.
- Ensure that all video endpoints, video infrastructure, security camera servers, and/or network monitoring are in working condition.
- Provide technical assistance for video footage retrieval to technical manager, as needed.
- Clean and maintain all cameras, so the video is clear and unobstructed.
- Bi-annually perform standard preventative maintenance and server network operating system (NOS) updates, and network infrastructure of the camera security system using CalVet provided network account credential and for remote support contractor shall use CalVet technical contact facilitated online session.
- Agreement, preventative maintenance includes, but is not limited to system inspection, testing, and application of all software patches and upgrades as required by normal business standards.
- All licenses for the support and operation of the cameras must be included in the procurement.
- Additional licenses, if needed, for the network video recorder (NVR) must be included in the procurement.
- The contractor shall perform emergency calls and call-back service, and shall include state holidays, weekends, and off hours.
- The contractor shall maintain a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week system to receive emergency calls and callback service requests.
- The contractor shall provide call-back service to CalVet acknowledging and assigning a case to a technician within one (1) hour of receipt.
- The contractor shall have the ability to be on premises within two (2) hours after receiving an emergency call.
