[A] Scope of Service:
The vendor is required to provide that
- The successful contractor shall only use trained and licensed technicians to perform work required under this solicitation.
- The contractor shall supply electronic 24-hour monitoring of all schools and remote buildings that have fire alarm and security monitoring equipment
- Monitoring firm shall have an under-writer’s laboratory rating and the ability to report calls immediately to proper services such as local fire departments if requested and warren county public schools, facilities management office.
- Additional services and or locations shall not be considered unless approved in writing by the owner.
- Contractor shall keep all areas free from debris and remove same after service is completed.
- Contractor shall notify the facilities management office immediately if for any reason monitoring services are interrupted and when services are restored.
- All systems shall be checked and inspected quarterly, and safety controls checked, scheduled through the facilities management office or authorized representative.
- Provide a “preferred customer” status to warren county public schools for the purpose of providing regular or emergency service calls when needed.
- All service calls shall include the proper inspections and checks that are necessary to insure dependable safe operation of the equipment.
- Each proposal shall list the specific work that will be performed. appropriate billing and a copy of the submitted checklist completed by the technician shall document each service.
- Each proposal shall include the insurance coverage maintained by the contractor that protects him from claims for worker’s compensation, bodily injury, death and property damage which may arise out of a result from the operation of the agreement.
- The successful bidder shall provide certificates of insurance to be filed with warren county public schools
- The contractor shall supply for each piece of equipment serviced, logs stating, date of service, service provided and technician who performed service.
- This log shall be maintained and kept at each piece of equipment serviced.
- Only competent, well-trained technicians shall perform the work.
- Contractor to provide documented evidence of training and certifications for technical staff to owner at prior to contract award.
- Provide detailed procedures for alarm notifications prior to contract start up
- Procedures to include call tree, process for receipt and acknowledgement of alarms by owner prior to notifications to first responders,
- Scheduled preventative maintenance service requires a mandatory two (2) days advance notice to the facilities management office or authorized representative
- Provide, as needed, all service calls to maintain the proper operation of the systems.
- These calls shall be during the scheduled working day of the company and will be at the discretions of the owner.
- Provide the hourly rate for service maintenance.
- The contractor shall be responsible for cleaning up any debris that was a result of any services provided and also for disposing of any materials not used.
