The vendor is required to provide professional security services at the central office.
- Unarmed security services:
• Supply all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to provide unarmed security patrol services at the county.
- Security officers should wear the complete prescribed uniform during all shifts and maintain a high standard of personal and uniform appearance.
• The security officer be neat and clean in appearance.
• Officer shall be equipped with portable communication devices permitting 24-hour communication with company headquarters and/or with appropriate law enforcement agencies and other designated contacts.
• A security officer is to be located at the agency Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• A security officer will also perform a minimum of two random after-hours site inspections at the agency, at varied times to eliminate an obvious pattern of watch.
• Inspections should occur outside the agency operating hours of Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with nightly inspections to occur between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., and weekend/holiday inspections to occur at least once between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and once between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.
• As a voting precinct and training facility for the supervisor of elections office, site inspections will be required between 9:00 p.m., and 12:00 a.m., on election and/or training days.
• During election years, this could occur on up to ten to twelve occasions; however, these inspections would count toward the minimum of two nightly inspections and not be additional.
• Security officers will be responsible for situational awareness and will call for back-up, as needed, in the event of medical or security emergencies.
• Security officer is required to submit a daily report that includes the date, time, and name of the officer, areas patrolled, buildings, vehicles and equipment checked.
• Provide an hourly rate for a uniformed security officer with a clearly marked/labeled security vehicle for any after-hours security that may be needed for special meetings or events.
- Armed security services:
