Safety and Security Enhancements Services

The vendor is required to provide to make $199,500 in safety and security enhancements at multiple locations on its 650-acre campus in state.
- Access control and door sensors:
• Includes acquisition and installation of fifteen (15) access controls plus acquisition and installation of approximately fifty-six (56) door sensors for remaining non-access controlled doors to improve ability to monitor and manage access of nine (9) buildings via electronic method.
- Indoor and outdoor surveillance-related equipment:
• Includes acquisition and installation of indoor and outdoor cameras to enable remote monitoring and reporting of activity/movement and deterring of unauthorized access to ten (10) buildings.
• Includes acquisition, installation and configuration of (1) camera server to manage the acquired, network-attached cameras for viewing, controlling, storing and retrieving video.
- Outdoor emergency sound system:
• Includes acquisition and installation of an outdoor emergency sound system to audibly alert people across campus of threats so that they can take immediate and appropriate safety measures no matter their location on campus.
• To include one (1) audio system control unit, configured, and installation of four (4) satellite units at three (3) different strategic locations.
- Security cameras must:
• Be manufactured by axis communications
• Have ability to record HD images
• Have a wide dynamic range with minimum h.265
• Include licenses applied to the agency’s milestone Xprotect professional plus system
• Have appropriate field of view to capture minimum of approach and entry to project sites
• Be hard wired
- Camera server must be sized appropriately based on milestone Xprotect professional software recommendations for the cameras acquired for the project to record activity for at least 90 days.
- Emergency sound system must be IP (internet protocol) network-based.
- Cabling for data, phone, WAP, cameras and speakers must be certified.
- Cabling shall be terminated at network end with a male RJ45 end.
