The Vendor is required to provide for the installation of a network of seven security cameras including related network connectivity and power at park.
- Video Surveillance Camera Standards
• All video related equipment must be compatible with Genetec 5.12 security center.
• The preferred surveillance camera brand is axis communications network video cameras.
• Video cameras must possess, at minimum: 1080p video quality or better, zip stream technology for compression of video.
• For failover the cameras should have edge storage, optimized for video surveillance, with a minimum of 64 GB of storage.
• A Genetec Omni cast and / or axis certification technician must install the video equipment.
• Work with the city’s Genetec center system administrator to configure cameras in the city’s Genetec security system.
• The network connection between the camera and the city-provided POE network switch must be CommScope category 6 (refer to connections to city network for more details).
• Genetec software connection and advantage support fees to cover devices.

• All network connections must be CommScope category 6 cabling.
• The CommScope category 6 cabling must be installed by a CommScope certified installer.
• Installation covers routing, termination, labeling and testing.
• Cable must be neatly dressed to a city-provided rack where the cable will be terminated onto a city provided patch panel.
• Category 6 jack modules and surface-mount single-gang jacks to each of the locations.
• The jacks will reside inside each back box.
• Category 6 jacks in surface-mount boxes will be within 3’ of the camera location.
• Category 6 test results and as-built print prior to final invoice being paid.
• Certification for the CommScope 25 year extended product warranty and application assurance must be submitted as part of the bid response.
• Work with city staff for connection to electrical.
