Security Guard Services

The Vendor is required to provide security guard services for the city department.
- Required to maintain a state license class b or class c from the state board of private investigators and private security agencies.
- Security Guards must complete a 30-hour training course.
- Guard service contractor shall, at the request of management, furnish any additional guards or reduce guard hours service that may be needed as circumstances dictate.
- Visibility and Patrolling
• Conduct exterior patrols at least once per hour.
• Conduct interior patrols at least once every 30 minutes.
• Stay visible, attentive, and approachable throughout the shift.
• Assist in closing procedures by checking low visibility areas and restrooms to ensure that library patrons have cleared the building.
