The vendor is required to provide security alarm services at the department.
- Procure comprehensive security alarm services to enhance the safety and security of its facility.
- Responsible for providing all installation, monitoring, supplies, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and transportation, and perform all operations necessary to monitor, inspect, test, certify, and repair security alarm detection systems, and maintenance of alarm systems and security solutions that comply with federal and state regulations and standards.
- These services, ensuring that the facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art security measures suited to the unique needs of the organization.
- Routine maintenance encompasses regular inspections and proactive measures to prevent failures, while emergency services address unforeseen issues that require immediate attention.
- Maintenance services requested outside of the standard monthly and annual monitoring and inspections must be carried out efficiently, with charges aligned to the rates outlined in the pricing proposal or as further negotiated at the time of service.
- The capability to operate any relevant software systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation of all components involved in the communication infrastructure.
- System Design and Configuration:
• Design an integrated security system that includes intrusion detection, access control, and alarm notifications.
• Ensure compatibility with existing department systems and infrastructure.
• Burglar alarm/ burglar alarm system - an alarm, alarm system or portion of such an alarm or system that meets institute standards and is intended to detect or warn of an intrusion or other emergency in a structure.
- Installation Requirements:
• Provide detailed plans and layout for installations across department.
• Gain necessary permissions and comply with local building codes.
- Monitoring Services:
• Provide 24hurs per day/7 days per week, and 365 days per year monitoring of alarm systems for the entire span of the facility by trained personnel.
• Provide monthly cellular monitoring.
• Utilize a central station monitoring service that meets the standards set forth by the electronic security association (ESA).
• Provide immediate notification to local law enforcement in the event of an alarm trigger.
- Maintenance and support:
• Conduct regular maintenance and testing of all equipment, as per the manufacturer’s specifications during the facility regular business hours.
• Offer responsive support services for system issues, including a dedicated service line during business and off-hours.
• Provide training for department staff on system usage and emergency protocols.
