The Vendor is required to provide security cameras at three city facilities: centennial civic center, centennial center park, and eagle street facility.
- Review of draft design
• Review draft design and provide recommendations regarding wireless bridge locations, camera models identified for each location, and camera locations.
• The city agree to any modifications involving equipment already listed in (equipment list and cost proposal), said equipment and associated labor will be provided at the same unit cost as the bid.
• The draft design, the contractor will prioritize considerations involving the maximizing of network stability for wireless cameras and coverage in a variety of lighting and weather conditions for all cameras.
• Consult with city staff regarding intended camera network infrastructure, including developing an estimate of the necessary data storage needs.
• Provide and install all necessary servers and switches required for the operation of the system.
- Removal of existing cameras
• Remove and dispose of fifty-nine (59) existing cameras, 11 of which do not have a replacement at the same location.
• For removal locations with a planned replacement, existing cat 6 cabling and exterior conduit may be reused if currently functional and in good condition.
• For 6 locations where no replacement is intended and exterior conduit is present, remove both conduit and existing cat 6 cabling back to the switch.
• The patching and repair of surfaces where existing cameras are removed is required, though paint will be handled by the city.
- Installation and performance requirements
• Install fifty-eight (58) new Avigilon cameras of the make, model, and quantity.
• Avigilon enterprise camera licenses will be provided by the contractor for all new cameras.
• Where existing cat 6 cable and exterior conduit is not already available or present, but in poor condition, the contractor shall install cat 6 cabling as well as 3/4” conduit where necessary to comply with adopted codes.
• Install, configure, and test twenty (20) wireless bridges.
• All wireless bridges will be cambium networks 60 ghz bridge-in-a-box 1 gb.
• Prior to installation, the contractor will work with city it staff to asset tag all new equipment.
• Provide all required labor to mount, terminate and test the equipment.
• Installation(s) and removals will be performed in a workmanlike manner by contractor's technicians, meeting or exceeding industry standards and in full compliance with all relevant local code requirements.
• Responsible for all hardware device programming and configuration.
• The city to establish frame rates, motion sensitivity, device naming, and exclusion zones for each camera and provide training on the use of the new equipment.
• Provide documentation on all installed equipment, including network bridge configuration settings and passwords.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite, including installing construction fencing to keep the public out of the work area if necessary and protecting existing structures from damage during installation.
• Dispose of debris created by the services into city-furnished trash bins or containers at the sites.
• Appropriately disposing of all electronic equipment scheduled for removal offsite.
• Provided hereunder shall be provided Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise coordinated in advance with the city.
