The Vendor is required to provide in on-site private security in the behavioral health sector.
- The Security Officer will be on-site Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Unarmed uniformed Security Officer whose primary duties and responsibilities are:
• Greet customers as they enter the facility
• To assist staff in de-escalation of any agitated clients.
• To be a visual deterrent and prevent suspicious and/or illegal activity.
• Regularly patrol on foot the internal and external premises. If not on patrol security officer will be stationed in the facility's lobby.
• Be the primary point of contact with local law enforcement for any and all emergencies.
- Complete, sign and provide a detailed written report to agency of all incidents, occurrences, suspicious activity and or persons
- Conduct a final foot patrol of the entire building including all conference rooms, the kitchen, break room patio, and all restrooms, ensuring all doors, windows, and gates are secure and locked.
- In the event of a crime taking place the Security Officer on duty shall attempt to verbally deescalate, initiate an evacuation if needed, primary reasonability is to observe and report only.
- Security Officer will immediately activate bodycam for the duration of the incident.
- Security Officer will contact agency point of contact and local law enforcement for any and all emergencies. - Security officers and administrative personnel must maintain confidentiality of any clients and/or facilities and/or related information viewed or obtained while conducting security services.
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
