The vendor is required to provide security system at city hall, encompassing both the closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system and the electronic access control system (ACS).

• Overhaul and replace the current WinDSX access control system with a new synergis access control system.
• This includes removal or decommissioning of existing WinDSX control panels and installation of Genetec-compatible controllers and interface modules, as well as integration with the city’s Genetec security center platform.

- CCTV System
1. Exterior cameras:
• Provide and install two (2) new cameras at designated exterior locations around city hall.
• The primary security system (Genetec security center) will also manage these new exterior cameras
• Coordinate with the city to ensure the exterior cameras are properly integrated into the Genetec video management system (e.g., assisting with licensing or configuration as needed, even though the physical installation is by others).
• The cameras shall be axis m2036-le network bullet cameras.
• Responsible for mounting these cameras on the brick façade, or neatly routing the cabling and connecting them to the city’s network.
2. Interior cameras:
• Provide and install three (3) new interior surveillance cameras within city hall at locations specified by the city (for example, building entrances, lobby, or high-traffic areas inside the facility).
• The cameras shall be axis p3265 network dome cameras (or an equivalent axis model approved by the city).
• The axis p3265 is a high-resolution, IP-based dome camera designed for indoor use, offering features such as a wide dynamic range and low-light performance to deliver high-quality video.
• Responsible for mounting these cameras (likely on ceilings or walls), concealing or neatly routing the cabling, and connecting them to the city’s network.
• The new cameras, the contractor is responsible for the relocation of multiple interior cameras as indicated on the drawings to provide better coverage of critical areas.
• The city of battle creek has supplied and installed all necessary network switches and power over ethernet (POE) ports.
3. Existing cameras:
• Also responsible for integrating all 39 existing cameras into the Genetec security center.
• Coordinate with city hall to make sure the cameras are set to the existing video resolutions and specifications.
4. Servers:
• Responsible for installing two new dell servers that meet both Genetec and the city of battle creek’s standards and specifications.
• The basis of the server shall be dell PowerEdge r360.
