Electronic Premises Security Systems

The vendor is required to provide electronic premises security systems (alarms, card access, video) as well as product only for state agencies and cooperative purchasing venture (CPV) members.
- Electronic premises security systems including but not limited to:
1. Intrusion detection systems
•    Intrusion monitoring and alarm panels
•    Position sensors – door and window position.
o    Flush mount
o    Surface mount
•    Glass break detectors
•    Intrusion motion sensors
2. Electronic access control systems
•    System software and access control units (ACU)
•    Reader – types include proximity, bar code, biometrics, and smart cards
•    Position sensor
•    Request-to-exit device (RTE)
•    Locking systems
o    Electrically operated door hardware 24 vdc, unless indicated otherwise
o    Electrically operated lockset
o    Electrically operated mortise type lockset with integral switch and door position switch
o    Electrically operated cylindrical type lockset
o    Electric strike
o    Electrically operated exit device with integral switch
o    Magnetic lock – limited use (discouraged on egress doors)
3. Video surveillance systems
•    Cameras
•    Monitors
•    Multiplexers
•    Recorders
•    Splitters
•    Video transmission systems
4. Photo identification badging systems
•    ID camera
•    Card printer and software
•    Blank id cards
- Integrated systems
•    Common control units used for multiple systems, e.g., access control, security, fire alarm, building automation, etc.
