The vendor required to provide security integrator services will be responsible for the lifecycle and management of physical security protection systems.
- This system is composed of more than 1,000 devices installed in approximately 70 locations throughout state.
- Core services include:
• Installation/configuration/programming/management/administration/integration of but not limited to:
1. Video surveillance system and peripheral components and software
o Video management systems and network video recorders
o Cameras, speakers, radar, switches, environmental devices, i/o modules
o Video analytics
o Network communications and intercoms
o Servers running VMS software
2. Physical access control systems or software
o Card readers and panels
o Servers running PACS software
3. Physical intrusion detection systems
o Security based sensors
o Environmental sensors
o Fire system integration
• Annual maintenance on all sites where physical protection systems is deployed.
• Monitoring of intrusion detection systems through ULC certified monitoring stations.
• Responding to, updating and managing service tickets for device or system issues.
• Regular updating of firmware, application of hot fixes, and software updates.
• Prepare quotes for capital projects and security equipment buildouts based on agency provided designs and specifications.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and operates as designed.
• Coordinate with internal departments to implement and maintain systems and software as required.
• Ensure installations are completed according to agency requirements.
• Provide comprehensive project documentation packages.
• Deliver training and documentation on new equipment or products as required.
• Completion of all services according to a service level agreement.
• Completion of metrics, logs, commissioning checklists, and other documentation.
- Mandatory requirements (pass and fail)
• Core services are defined above including but not limited to software and device management, maintenance, installation and servicing.
• Security integrator must have an established ability and experience in supporting:
o Milestone XProtect
o Axis communications devices
o Pro-watch access control software
o DSC alarm systems and programming
• All integrator technicians that will be responsible for configuring equipment are required to have the corresponding manufacturer training (milestone technician, axis certified installers, pro-watch certified installers) prior to working with agency equipment.
• Integrator is required to be a member of the milestone systems partner program, with a minimum acceptable partner level of advanced.
• Integrator is required to have any technicians responsible for installing and configuring devices such as cameras to have an appropriate vendor certification such as axis or pro-watch certifications.
• Integrator is required to have a minimum of one certified technician located within 50km of both states.
• Integrator must have an ability to provide support for remote technical issues within 30 minutes on a 24/7 basis.
• Integrator must be able to provide detailed quotes and invoices including unit quantities and pricing, assigned labor hours and rates, and commissioning tasks.
