The vendor required to provide one (1) uniformed, trained, licensed, and armed security officer to provide safety and security for employees, customers, partners, and visitors at the center.
- The primary responsibility of the armed security officer is to provide a safe and secure environment for building tenants, staff, customers, partners, and the general public.
- The security officer shall:
• Monitor all entrances and exits to ensure the safety and security of staff, customers, partners, and the general public and to deter unauthorized access.
• Screen visitors for purpose of visit and control access to the facility, allowing entry only to authorized individuals and approved guests.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to disturbances, emergencies, or potential security threats in order to protect persons and property.
• Provide crowd control inside or outside the facility when necessary to maintain order and ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain daily logs and activity reports documenting routine activities, observations, and any notable events during each assigned shift.
• Prepare written incident reports for all unusual occurrences or emergencies and submit such reports in accordance with governments requirements.
• Coordinate with the center operator or designee regarding security related matters, incidents, and operational needs.
