The Vendor is required to provide live operator service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to receive and record phone calls from approximately 1,600 employees of the Board who are calling to announce that they will be absent from work.
- The Board will not accept a mechanical answering device for this service.
- It is anticipated that the contactor may receive about 80 – 100 incoming calls per school day (September 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026).
- The winning company shall email daily to all schools and to the central office a list of those who called in to be absent and the list of substitutes that were reached.
- Monthly Fax Charge – Per Location the district currently has 22 locations
- Incoming Message Call Charge – Local Message Unit per call approximately 14,000 calls per annum.
