The vendor is required to provide that cleaning services for (i) six (6) public restrooms, (ii) the Polhill visitor’s center facility, and (iii) the settlement camp park theater facility located in the city.
- Park restrooms (six total): Park restrooms are public restrooms utilized by the community in the city at the following locations:
• Memorial Park restrooms - Services provided from May 1 to October 31; two approximate 350 square foot restrooms; five toilets, two urinals, and three sinks in total.
• green street park restrooms - Services provided from May 1 to October 31; two approximate 200 square foot restrooms; three toilets, one urinal, and two sinks in total.
• South Ave Park restrooms - Services provided from July 1 to October 31 in 2025 and may 1 to October 31 for subsequent years.; a new restroom facility to be constructed in the spring of 2025 and proposals must pro-rate costs for 2025.
• Cleaning of the park restrooms shall be seven (7) days per week (Monday through Sunday) may 1 to October 31, and must be done in the evening (no earlier than 7pm).
• Specifications: Restroom cleanings must include the following:
1. Collect and empty trash and recycling bins and remove waste from the site
2. Resupply or fill paper and soap dispensers
3. Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures, door handles, sinks, toilets, and urinals
4. Clean mirrors, counters, partitions and chrome fixtures
5. Sweep and mop floor using appropriate cleaner
6. Spot clean walls, doors, wall fixtures, and ceilings as needed
• Lock doors when cleaning is complete (no earlier than 7pm)
- City of beacon visitors center – the visitor center is an approximately 500 square foot facility consisting of a main room, closet, and a single restroom with one sink and one toilet.
• Services provided from April 1 to October 31 once per week.
• Specifications: Facility cleaning must include the following:
1. Collect and empty trash and remove waste from the facility
2. Resupply and fill paper and soap dispensers from the restroom
3. Clean and dust windows, blinds, lighting fixtures, window ledges, window frames, and floorboards throughout the building
4. Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures, door handles, sink, and toilet
5. Clean mirrors, counters, partitions, door handles, and chrome fixtures in the facility
6. Sweep and mop facility floors using appropriate cleaner
7. Spot clean walls, doors, wall fixtures, and ceilings as needed
• Lock facility doors when cleaning is complete
- Settlement camp park theater building – the theater is an approximately 1700 square foot rustic barn event facility; the facility consists of a main floor, a stage, two utility rooms, and two restrooms with one sink and toilet each.
• Services provided for one (1) annual “deep” cleaning of the facility in early may.
• Services provided for 12 “in-between” event cleanings of the facility on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in June, July, august, September and October.
• Specifications: facility cleanings must include the following:
1. Collect and empty trash and remove waste from the facility
2. Resupply and refill paper and soap dispensers in the restroom
3. Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures, door handles, sinks, and toilets
4. Clean mirrors, counters, partitions, door handles, and chrome fixtures in the facility
5. Sweep and mop facility floors using appropriate cleaner
6. Dust and vacuum cobwebs in the facility as needed
7. Clean and dust, windows, blinds, lighting fixtures, window ledges, window frames, and floorboards in the facility
8. Spot clean walls, doors, wall fixtures, and ceilings as needed
• Lock facility doors when cleaning is complete.
