The Vendor is required to provide court reporting services for administrative hearings in County.
- The Board requires the option for court reporters to prepare verbatim transcriptions from audio recordings of hearings and meetings when on-site attendance is not feasible.
- Provide court reporting services with at least 24-hour advance notice from agency. The Vendor shall use best efforts to fulfill court reporting service requests with less than 24-hours advance notice.
- Stenographic notes, audio recordings, and other records of engagements from which the transcripts are made shall become the property of the Agency, subject to applicable confidentiality requirements.
- May charge an hourly appearance fee for any engagement conducted virtually (via videoconference or remote platform). This fee compensates the Vendor for reserving the court reporter’s availability at the scheduled time, platform preparation and setup, equipment readiness, and potential disruptions to other assignments. The Vendor may apply a minimum charge of one (1) hour, with additional time billed in fifteen (15) minute increments.
- Transcript page shall be on standard 8 ½ x 11 paper.
- Transcripts shall be no more than 11-point font and no less than 9-point font, unless specified otherwise by the Agency.
