Traffic Data Collection Services

The Vendor is required to provide traffic data collection services at various locations throughout the City on an as needed basis.
- Services needed will include:
•    Non-signalized intersection turning movement counts (including bicycles, pedestrians, and vehicle classification)
•    Signalized intersection turning movement counts (including bicycles and pedestrians)
•    Directional volume counts
•    Speed data
- Information shall include:
•    Dates and times of collection
•    Days of the week
•    Intersection (cross street names and approach cardinal direction) or location (street name, segment, and approximate distance from adjacent roadways)
•    Existing traffic control
•    Functional classifications of intersecting streets
•    Lane configuration including number of approaching lanes and turn lanes
•    Time period
•    Any unusual conditions noted
•    Weather
•    Name of person conducting survey
- In case of construction work or special event, the schedule for data collection must be flexible and coordinated with the City.
