Printing Services

The vendor is required to provide that printing services
- Paper specifications: all “non-calendar” issues:
• Cover: 100# gloss text, #3 quality sheet
• Inside:   70# gloss text, #3 quality sheet
- Paper specifications: December “calendar issue”
• Cover: 100# gloss cover, coated both sides, #3 quality sheet
• Inside:   80# gloss text, coated both sides, #3 quality sheet
- Artwork: electronic in design files, printer ready.
- Proofs: For each issue, (2) two composite, high-resolution, complete Epson® color proofs on select pages and color laser proofs, indicating folds, page imposition and trims of entire magazine or calendar. the select page will be determined by the game and fish department when files are sent to printer.
- One set of proofs will be retained by the state game and fish department, the other set will be sent back to the vendor.
- Page size: 8 ½” x 11”
- Covers: all covers are 4-page covers, 8 ½” x 11” page size.
- Ink -text: 4 color process printed both sides, full bleeds.
- Ink -covers: 4 color process printed both sides, full bleeds plus spot gloss varnish on outside front and back covers of “non-calendar” issues; flood gloss varnish on outside of front and back cover of calendar issue.
- Bindery: Fold, collate, saddle stitch, trim to 8 ½” x 11”. on “calendar issue”, drill one 1/8” hole,” for hanging.
- Bid is all or none.
- Mailing and handling:
- Addressing, sorting, bagging and any other handling, including delivery to the post office, shall be provided by the successful vendor.
- Mailing addresses must be printed on the back side of the magazine.
- Postage paid by state game and fish, to include:
• Filing fee for mailing permit change;
• Computer program costs to change zip codes, etc.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
