Environmental Monitoring Services

The vendor is required to provide environmental consulting services, including surveying, sampling, testing, reporting, monitoring, scheduling, and development of environmental scoping services to meet compliance with relevant regulations for various project sites located within the city.
•    Survey, bulk sampling, inspection, and report preparation for removal or design for removal of asbestos containing material (ACM) for various city projects.
•    Assess hazards posed by the presence of ACM and recommend appropriate response actions.
•    Plan scope, timing, phasing, and remediation methods to be utilized on ACM abatement projects.
•    Provide comprehensive reports detailing monitoring activities at the conclusion of all asbestos abatement projects.
•    Respond on emergency basis and arrive onsite within 2 hours and provide air monitoring 24 hrs. and day.
•    Visual inspection of the city of troy landfill to identify debris, litter, waste, cover
•    damage, or erosion.
•    Inspection of the city of troy landfill for gas odors.
•    Groundwater sampling, analyzed using:
o    Semi-volatile organic compounds by EPA method 8270
o    1,4-dioxane by EPA method 8270 Sim
o    Perfluoroalkyl substances (pfas) by EPA method 537
o    Polychlorinated biphenyls by EPA method 8082
o    Target analyte list (TAL) metals by EPA method 6010b
•    Stormwater sampling, analyzed using:
o    1,4-dioxane by EPA method 8270 Sim
o    Perfluoroalkyl substances (pfas) by EPA method 537
o    Target analyte list (TAL) metals by EPA method 6010b
•    Visual inspection of stone, asphalt, and concrete cover.
•    Discussion of investigation and mitigation measures for the sink hole observed on the western portion and along the fall of 2024.
