Gas Fueled Live Fire Training Systems and Related Services

The vendor is required to provide to build a new public safety training academy that includes one gas-fired live fire training structure and three mobile outdoor gas-fueled trainers.
- The city of pricing for providing all materials, labor, supervision, staff, equipment, and related services for the complete provision, installation, testing, start-up, and training of the gas-fueled live fire training system in the new drill tower plus the outdoor gas-fueled trainers.
- Design, manufacture, deliver, install, integrate, and test the gas fueled live fire training systems defined in this specification, including:
• Fully integrated fire props that meet all aspects of this specification
• Fully integrated emergency exhaust ventilation systems
• System control and diagnostic control units for each fire trainer.
- Provide all required reference materials and product certifications upon submission of bid.
- Provide design consulting and shop drawings (interface documents) to owner and design team including, but not limited to the following:
• Review design team's construction documents for conflicts and coordination requirements relating to the gas fueled trainers and equipment rooms
• Indicate all required gas and electrical services and requirements, equipment placement, building penetrations and openings, conduit locations and sizes, pipe locations and sizes, exhaust duct locations and sizes, etc.
- Provide complete testing of each fire trainer
- Provide manuals and training for each fire trainer.
- System training capabilities shall include:
• Flashover recognition and tactics for suppression.
• Direct and indirect fire attack.
• Interior fire attack
• Exterior fire attack.
• Extension fire control
• Search and rescue in low or limited visibility environments.
• Tactics and strategies.
• Fire suppression techniques.
