The Vendor is required to provide geographic information system strategic plan to guide the integration, management, and utilization of GIS technology across city departments.
- Evaluate the current GIS capabilities, infrastructure, and data management practices.
- Identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for GIS utilization.
- Define a roadmap for GIS integration, technology upgrades, and staff training.
- Create a Plan: A comprehensive report summarizing current GIS capabilities and recommending a 5 year GIS strategic plan for improvement.
- Analyze Resources: Identify resource requirements, including staffing, training, software, and hardware needs.
- Develop a Budget: estimates for proposed GIS enhancements and implementations.
- Data Solutions: tailored to the City’s operational needs.
- Governance: Establish a governance framework to manage GIS resources effectively; provide details about their capabilities and methodologies that address pertinent areas of interest. Including but not limited to:
- Assessment Report - Conduct a thorough analysis to establish a baseline understanding of the current GIS infrastructure and identify areas for improvement:
• Baseline Assessment: Evaluate the current GIS infrastructure and resources.
• GIS Needs Assessment: Conduct stakeholder interviews to identify departmental needs.
