The Vendor is required to provide executive search firms capable of assisting the University and the search committee with this process.
- Provide a full-service executive search and recruitment firm.
- The Search Firm will provide all the services related to securing appropriate candidates for the position of Title IX Coordinator, which will include but not be limited to:
• Providing an overall comprehensive executive search strategy and approach to this search, including a timeline of the search from appointment of search firm to appointment of title ix coordinator;
• Supplying the office of employee services with background information describing the firm, including:
geographic location, firm history, reputability, capabilities, number of years working with educational institutions, information relating to title ix coordinator or related searches conducted over the last five years, role description, resumes, and credentials of relevant staff, contingency plan for staff replacement, a summary of what sets your firm apart from other search firms, and a list of five references of higher education institutions with whom you have worked (references should include each institution’s name, and the name, title, phone number, and email address of the institution contact);
• Coordinating closely with the office of employee services and the campus search committee (consisting of students, staff, faculty, community members (potentially), and other constituents involved in the search process);
• Analyzing the needs of agency and working with management to create a profile of the position;
• Developing and preparing effective recruitment strategies and materials;
• At a minimum, employing all reasonable techniques, which are standard in the search firm industry, in an effort to identify qualified candidates, using, but not limited to: advertising in appropriate journals, publications and websites; utilizing the firm’s contacts to identify qualified candidates; receiving submitted CVs and applications; screening and credentialing qualified candidates; and interviewing qualified selected candidates
• Coordinating advertising, recruiting, and screening in order to deliver a pool of highly qualified, viable, candidates from a broad range of backgrounds for the search committee’s consideration; advertise the vacancy nationally and in a way intended to generate a diverse pool of candidates.
• The vacancy shall be broadly advertised in recruitment sources that are determined to be equal opportunity recruitment outlets.
• Developing a prescreening methodology for identifying a subgroup of semifinalists;
• Ensuring applicants’ statuses are granted appropriate scrutiny and confidentiality appropriate to each phase of the search;
• Coordinating campus interviews with the office of employee services, search committee, and campus constituents/stakeholders;
• Ensuring viability of candidates by reviewing qualifications of all applicants, conducting initial reference checks, extensive background checks (peers, colleagues, supervisees, etc.,), and verification of credentials;
• Providing continual feedback about references at various points in the process;
• Meeting with the office of employee services search committee throughout the search process and keeping the committee apprised of the status of the search;
• Coordinating all procedural and administrative aspects of the search.
