The Vendor is required to provide human resources consultants or firms to review, assess, and update the town’s personnel manual and all associated policies.
- The town employs approximately 25 full-time and 60 part-time and seasonal employees across seven service units.
- The town is committed to providing a safe, fair, and equitable work environment for all employees.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the town’s current personnel manual and all related personnel policies.
- Assess compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and mandates (e.g., agency paid leave policies, acts, sexual harassment prevention requirements, labor postings, etc.).
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated information and recommend updates and/or new policies to ensure legal compliance and the adoption of best practices.
- Draft revised personnel manual and policies incorporating all required changes.
- Present recommendations and revisions to the town administrator and, if requested, to the town board, and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
- Provide guidance and training to support the implementation of new and updated policies, if requested.
