- Providing updated salary bands and actionable, data-driven recommendations for compensation adjustments and related policies.
• Review current compensation structure for all executive-level positions included in the study.
• Conduct benchmarking with a mix of for-profit, nonprofit, and government employers to determine market competitiveness.
• Evaluate internal equity and compression concerns.
• Recommend updated salary ranges and bands.
• Assess the county’s approach to merit-based incentives and offer policy recommendations for improvement.
• Provide a written report with data-backed findings and implementation strategies.
• Present findings to county leadership and, if requested, to the board of commissioners.
