The Vendor is required to provide for the provision of international k12 teacher recruitment services by schools.
- Arranging and providing for repatriation and medical evacuation insurance benefits.
- Teachers shall provide instructional services and shall fulfill other duties as reasonably assigned by the principal of the school where the teacher is assigned.
- Less-than-12-month employees may request the use of up to five (5) days of their accrued sick leave per school year as personal leave during their normal contract and/or work year.
- The personal leave request is subject to approval by the program manager or his or her designee contingent upon whether the absence of the employee on the dates for which the personal leave is requested can be accommodated without unacceptable disruption of the program.
- The teacher work calendar changes slightly from school year to school year, spanning mid to late August through mid to late June. In total, teachers work 195-days each school year.
- Approximately 21% of our student population is English Language Learners, and more than 7% are military-connected. Additionally, over 35% of our students are economically disadvantaged.
- All recruiting and selection expenses for teachers, including advertising, application and evaluation process, personal interviews, reference checks, background checks, Tuberculosis screening/test, and participant selection.
