The Vendor is required to provide employee assistance program (EAP) in order to provide confidential counseling and training services that promote mental, social, and physical well-being of all full and part-time agency employees and their family members.
- Individual Counseling
• Face-to-face counseling to address a wide variety of issues including, but are not limited to family problems, relationship issues, work/career concerns, alcohol/drug problems, emotional issues, psychiatric problems, life/work issues, financial problems, and workplace issues.
• The duration of these sessions shall range from forty-five (45) minutes to one (1) hour.
• Each individual employee will be provided with a minimum of four (4) EAP counseling sessions per year for each new problem which the employee seeks assistance.
- Group Counseling
• Group counseling sessions to address departmental special needs issues.
• The duration of these sessions generally range from forty-five (45) minutes to one (1) hour.
- Management Consultation
• The Contractor shall provide management counseling to include long-term case management for supervisor referrals of employees.
- On-line Support Services
• Provide a comprehensive website with tools and resources designed to offer EAP information and self-help services.
• At a minimum, the web services shall provide for employee orientation, supervisor EAP utilization training, access to financial and legal libraries, self-assessment services and regularly updated information on seasonal topics of interest.
- This shall include, but not limited to: a) use of full-time employees, call centers, answer services, on-site contracted afterhours staff, and automated menu system; b) the ability establish and/or identify actual referral sources during 24/7/365 contact to ensure employees immediate needs are met; and c) turnaround time during non-traditional business hour from initial intake to “live touch” direct communication with employees.
- Provide the Contractor with either bi-weekly employee demographic or eligibility data via an encrypted, secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) connection; or shall provide a monthly total employee eligible count.
- Provide on-call 24-hour access for immediate assistance through a local, toll-free or cell phone number.
