The Vendor is required to provide executive coach and legal management leadership training for the district attorney department.
- Responsibilities and activities of the coach
• Initial meeting among the district attorney, chief deputy district attorney, and manager (COACHEE) regarding specific, proscribed conduct, including the impact of such conduct on other employees, and the consequences of the conduct if continued.
• Interviews by the executive coach of the district supervisor, peers, and others to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the issues.
• Executive coach administers assessments of, and thereafter provides insight to, the district regarding motivations and issues not self-evident to the district which led to the proscribed conduct
• Executive coach and the district collectively identify current issues, design an ideal working alliance, and map out clear measures of what constitutes success.
• The district identifies evaluators who can provide recurring feedback and thereafter begins check-ins.
- Skills and competencies supported by the coaching engagement
• Effectively managing county deputy district attorneys, investigators, and clerical and support staff in an appropriate and consistent manner while adhering to federal and state laws, county policies and protocols, and best practices.
• Mastering proper interpersonal skills in daily interactions regarding employee work, performance, conduct, and responses to employee requests and issues
• Developing the requisite skills to lead employees in achieving the department’s mission and goals in a collaborative and efficient manner.
• Increasing productivity and morale among the employees.
