The Vendor is required to provide comprised of approximately 170 employees in five divisions: Administrative and Fiscal Services, Business Systems Services, Technical Services, Network Services, and Criminal Justice System Services. The Mission of Department is to provide reliable, responsive, cost-effective and relevant technology services and counsel to County departments, agencies, and leaders. The primary functions of Department are to plan, analyze, develop, operate and maintain computer-assisted systems to support the information processing requirements for the County.
- With an annual budget of approximately $45 million, the Department supports:
- More than 150 Custom Developed and Vended Apps
- Manages Over 4 Million Lines of Code
- Develops and Maintains Over 70 Web Applications
- Develops and Maintains Mobile Apps
- Manages the County’s Enterprise Mobile App Store
- Maintains digital maps of parcels, street centerlines and hundreds of other data layers
- Manages Over 125 Physical Servers (Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, IBM)
- Manages Over 325 Virtual Servers (Windows and Linux)
- Administers Over 400 Databases (Oracle and MS SQL Server)
- Manages 80 TB of Data Storage (SAN)
- Supports and Administers > 1,500 Desktops
- Processes Approx. 30,500 Support Calls Annually Via the Service Desk
- Provides Mobile Email Service to Over 3,000 Mobile Devices
- Maintains over 18,000 Data Ports, over 2,000 Switches and Routers
- Manages over 200 Wide Area Network Circuits
- Maintains over 9,000 Voice Devices
- Maintains the County’s Wireless Network with Over 900 Wireless Access Points
- Maintains Over 110 Microwave Transmission Sites
- Subscription-based advisory services regarding IT strategy and planning, Major IT trends in various industries, or various IT topics;
- An offeror-created technology research reports database in specific IT market categories;
- On-site consultation providing advisory on subject matter covered in the database;
- Regular bulletins and summaries of IT industry issues;
- Regularly scheduled live executive briefings of IT industry issues;
- Question-and-answer-based technology market research consultations; and
¬- Events sponsored by the Contractor pertaining to technology analysis.
