The vendor is required to provide that consultation and information technology support services for management of Meditech magic (legacy) and workday (new) inventory systems.
- The selected contractor must:
• Collaborate with county on development of policies and procedures (P&P) to guide staff on proper use of new workday materials management (Mm) inventory solution and coordinate development of training material for the county staff to align processes with the new P&P.
• Receive further training for and/or to become certified in the workday inventory module if needed and be willing travel if required.
• Interact with implementation team representatives as requested to support workday inventory system change, including data transfer activities.
• Work with the health services information technology (IT) unit to ensure other systems, such as epic, that impact or work with the inventory systems are operational.
• Develop custom reports as requested by materials management lead, the county CEO, the health services director, or their designee.
• Review and standardize inventory system dictionaries for use by the mm staff.
• Provide technical support for both systems after go-live until the legacy system is decommissioned
• Assist in training future staff on the use of the new system
