Server Cloud Migration Services

The vendor is required to provide comprehensive information technology support services include encompasses the migration of applications and data from on-premises servers to a secure and scalable cloud environment, including networking, pc support, printer management, and all other it services.
- Services requires continuous support for all software programs used throughout the county, including Tyler technologies software and software supporting the enhanced e-911 system.
- This includes on-site or remote repairs, installation and configuration of new hardware, and resolution of issues related to the records management system (RMS), jail management system (JMS), in-car and bodycam programs, various investigative programs, and other software.
- County currently utilizes an outsourced it provider to manage and maintain their on-premises servers, data and applications.
- The solutions from qualified vendors should include planning, analysis, technical requirements, and implementation of migrating county’s on-premises data and applications to a cloud-based environment.
- VMWARE, Vcenter, and scale hosts hardware
- Cloud solution service providers, (e.g., AWS, azure, and google cloud).
- Relevant certifications and expertise in cloud technologies.
- Developing migration strategies that encompass both custom-complex unique and off-the-shelf applications; and have a proven record of successful implementation.
- Experience managing cloud migrations, with minimal need to re-engineer applications to take advantage of current cloud technology.
- Knowledge of security best-practices for cloud environments.
- Ability to provide references from similar projects.
- Provide different options for the proposed cloud provider.
- Provide alternate locations for the platform as service.
- Provide cloud platform selection and server migration by:
• Conducting a comprehensive assessment of our current it infrastructure.
• developing a migration plan that includes timeline, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Migration of servers and applications to the chosen cloud platforms utilizing existing assessments.
• Configuration and optimization of cloud resources for performance and security, with conditional access control, wherever possible.
• Thorough collaborative testing of migrated applications and functionality.
• Verification of data integrity and performance in the cloud environment.
• Scalability and elasticity: the ability to efficiently scale resources up or down to meet changing business needs.
• Cost-effectiveness: reduced operational expenses through pay-as-you-go pricing and eliminating hardware maintenance costs.
• Enhanced security and compliance: robust security features and compliance with relevant industry standards.
• High availability and disaster recovery: minimized downtime and ensured data integrity through reliable disaster recovery solutions.
• Ease of management: user-friendly interface and intuitive management tools for efficient cloud resource management.

• Migration of data and applications, the county will work with the vendor to ensure successful acceptance of equipment, design, and programming of and access to the system(s).
- Operational support: proactive and dynamic support of the short and long-term critical operation and maintenance of the proposer(s) provided solution.
• This includes engineering, design, implementation, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance.
• Utilizing ongoing monitoring techniques that will diagnose problems and allow for circumstance-sensitive recovery procedures acceptable to the county.
• Operational support must meet all required service levels as defined, specified, and proposed.
