The Vendor is required to provide for information technology support services.
- IT Support Services must include, but are not limited to:
• Virtual chief information officer services, including budgetary guidance and IT alignment and planning, regular monthly reporting and recommendations related to relevant issues, and all ad hoc technology consulting.
• Network switches, routers, firewalls and access points
• Site-to-site and remote access VPN
• Workstations with relevant desktop operating systems and software
• Servers with relevant operating systems, services, and software
• Maintaining security and compliance and making recommendations for enhancements
○ User/asset management and auditing
○ Security awareness training
○ Vulnerability scanning and remediation
○ Multi-factor authentication
○ Incident response
• Email support and configuration of servers, desktops and mobile devices
• Data backup and disaster recovery and all relevant support
• Maintain compliance with regulations and cyber-insurance requirements
• Provide help desk support services with incident response levels and escalation processes
• Police department and various police systems
○ Spillman technology (hosted by 3rd party)
○ In-vehicle computers
○ Evidence management
○ Mobile internet/connectivity
○ CJIS compliance
○ Real-time crime center
• Own company data center with redundant data center relationships with SSAE 16 compliance
• Work collaboratively to maintain shared connections with other agencies
• Coordinate with current vendors (ISP, telephone, ERP systems, etc.) acting as internal IT department
• Weekly, onsite technical support
• Maintain a project management team that includes the method and approach used to manage the overall project and client correspondence.
• Cloud services and application management
- A data backup policy, with procedures in place to handle daily, weekly, and monthly backup of the computer, data and information, email, and the like; a program to restore systems and data if servers and/or computers go down, is required.
- Server and workstation administrative services: management of networks and computer systems, including complex applications, databases, messaging, servers and associated hardware, software, communications, and operating systems, necessary for performance, security, reliability, and recoverability of the systems.
- Strategic planning: engineering, planning, and design services for major system enhancements and/or upgrades to existing systems; recommendations for future hardware, software, and other technology needs, when requested or necessary and consulting on technology related purchases.
- Network administration services: server administration, and maintenance and support of network equipment, including switches, firewalls, routers, and other security devices is included.
