The Vendor is required to provide a framework to easily present data and allow access between the informational technologies (IT) to the operational technology (OT) networks so end-users can support their daily activities.
- The goal is to have collaborative data between the two networks to fulfill user needs, complying with cybersecurity best practices and requirements from the reporting agencies.
- Assessment & Discovery
• Review the existent IT and OT network architectures, cloud infrastructure, and data center resources, including storage and computing capabilities.
• Review the cybersecurity practices in the IT and OT networks.
• Review the policies and procedures used by both departments in adherence to their respective cybersecurity framework compliance requirements.
• Review the roles and responsibilities of the current employees.
- Risk Analysis
• Identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks associated with proposed collaboration methods.
• A report of identified risks with descriptions, likelihood, impacts and recommended mitigations.
- Framework Development
• Develop strategic plan for the IT/OT data collaboration.
• Recommend cybersecurity practice changes if required.
• Recommend changes in configuration and equipment to maintain the most current industry standards.
• Recommend any necessary policy and procedure changes to comply with the different reporting entities (Agency, Cybersecurity insurance companies, etc.).
• Review and recommend policies and procedures that will govern the operation of the two networks.
• Outline the roles and responsibilities for the two departments to maximize resources.
