Pension Actuarial Services

The Vendor is required to provide pension actuarial services.
- Provide software and/or analytical tools to assist agency staff with minor data analysis and modeling.
- Only transmit and receive confidential and sensitive information via encrypted transmission protocols including site-to-site VPN, SFTP, TLS, or other industry accepted encryption methodology as mutually agreed to in advance.
- Ensure that all files including, but not limited to, those with sensitive information reside in file transfer areas that remain encrypted while at rest using 2048-bit asymmetric keys.
- Take measures to ensure the security of interfaces, which includes, but is not limited to, data files, emails, print screens and email attachments that contractor is sending/receiving to/from external sources (whether agency or a third party).
- Adhere to agency file naming conventions and file formats. 
- Contractor may offer standard file layouts for agency consideration. 
- Replacement files should include any data agency requires.
- Fully capable of accepting and processing all agency file interfaces within an agreed upon time frame (no later than forty-five (45) days) prior to the go-live date as set forth by agency.
- Standard data files shall include specifications that are required when agency transfers data and information.
- Provide a copy of its business policies and procedures related to the file interface business process upon request by agency.
- Monitor access to its information technology systems on both a physical and system basis.
- Ensure all information technology systems associated with agency application delivery and data storage are physically secured in an access-restricted environment.
- Conduct special studies on potential or existing policy, funding, and economic issues affecting agency retirement plans;
- Conduct actuarial and cost analysis of various plan design changes, including proposed and enacted state and federal legislation and regulations.
