The Vendor is required to provide external legal services.
- Multiple firms may be selected to serve as outside counsel for the district on an as-needed basis.
- legal services in a broad range of practice areas, including but not limited to: labor and employment law, administrative hearings, investigations, immigration law, election law, tax and bankruptcy matters, special education and Section 504, construction law, intellectual property, general litigation, governance support to the Board of Trustees, real estate, general school law, open records, and other legal services as needed.
- Provide legal representation at Board meetings upon request by the Board President, Superintendent, or designee.
- Respond promptly to District inquiries and requests for legal guidance.
- Deliver services in the manner deemed most advantageous to district.
- Provide services as required; annual volume may vary.
- Include in their response any additional agreements/contracts proposed for execution by district. - Legal Services May Include:
