The vendor is required to provide legal survey program supports multiple projects include:
- Assumptions
• The agency will supply foundational information, including but not limited to:
o Preliminary alignment drawings
o Corridor maps
o Landowner contact details
o Parcel inventories
o Permissions to access properties for survey activities
• Land agents retained by the commission will continue to lead the land negotiations, calling on the selected survey team for technical support whenever required.
- Exclusions
• Construction‑phase layout and staking;
• On‑site supervision;
• Drafting or negotiation of legal agreements and other land‑acquisition services;
• Detailed topographic surveys extending beyond the immediate right‑of‑way or defined crossing areas;
• Any long‑term maintenance or post‑close‑out updates of survey plans;
• All environmental or archaeological field assessments.
- Optional and additional services
• These may include full construction layout services, such as staking easement limits, center lines, and structural footprints, plus supplemental topographic surveys where detailed terrain or geotechnical data are required for design refinement.
• The commission may also require enhanced expropriation support, encompassing any additional survey products needed for legal filings, as well as drone or campaigns to capture corridor wide aerial mapping.
• The proponent may be retained on an on call basis to address alignment tweaks, landowner driven parcel changes, or other emergent survey needs that arise during project delivery.
