Legal Services

The Vendor is required to provide for general counsel legal services.
- Guidance to agency, as well as representation when necessary, regarding personnel actions, policies and procedures, including but not limited to employment terminations and make recommendations as to appropriate actions and related issues;
- Reviewing, advising, and representing agency in connection with disputes arising during bid process, contracts between agency and contractor and with regard to issues and claims arising from construction and professional service contracts and other related matters;
- Review and approval of documents pertaining to financing related to development; advise and assist with issues regarding: land use, disposition of property, environmental site assessment, mixed finance development issues, replacement housing factor fund, low income housing tax credit advice, acquisition and redevelopment of real estate issues and related issues;
- Draft and/or review of all legal documents, papers, contracts, agreements. Certifications, resolutions, specifications, bonds.
- Conferring with and advising the officers, employees and members of the Authority on any Authority legal matter when requested by the Executive Director.
